FUZHOU, CHINA, September 8, 2026 — University executives, IT directors, and education network leaders from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan—including representatives from leading Kazakh and Uzbek universities alongside the Kazakhstan Research and Higher Education Network Association (KazRENA)—recently concluded a two-day collaborative exchange in Fuzhou.
Centered on the theme “From Infrastructure to Impact: Driving Higher Education Success Through Scenario-Based Innovation,” the delegation joined Ruijie Networks EBG to explore how digital infrastructure can directly support modern pedagogy, research capabilities, and regional academic collaboration.
The summit opened with an open forum on the evolving digital needs of higher education across Central Asia. Rather than focusing on hardware metrics, discussions centered on four collaborative pillars: technology alignment, joint solution co-creation, industrial partnerships, and academic ecosystem development.
Participants discussed how higher education institutions can transition from basic network connectivity to holistic digital campus environments tailored to modern teaching and research workflows.
“Digital transformation in higher education achieves true value when technology directly enhances the student learning experience, research efficiency, and institutional agility,” noted delegation representatives during the forum. “Exchanges like this help create a collaborative bridge between Central Asian universities and global industry practitioners, fostering a shared ecosystem for knowledge exchange.”

Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine — Practical Optical & Wireless Integration
Delegates conducted a site walkthrough across the university’s library core equipment rooms, lecture halls, and outdoor areas. The visit demonstrated how simplified optical cabling and scenario-specific access points deliver reliable, high-speed coverage across diverse campus spaces while minimizing power consumption and space requirements.
The initiative highlighted a growing commitment to long-term collaboration between Central Asian higher education institutions and international technology partners. By sharing operational experiences, deployment best practices, and regional success stories, both sides established a strong foundation for future joint initiatives, academic exchanges, and smart campus projects.
