Shanghai, China – Ruijie Networks Showcases Three Groundbreaking Solutions at MWC Shanghai 2025, Paving the Way for Intelligent Digital Transformation
The highly anticipated 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai opened on 18 June under the theme “ Connecting the Future”, drawing global attention from across the mobile communications and technology landscape. As a leading player in ICT infrastructure, Ruijie Networks unveiled three scenario-driven innovations under its core exhibition theme: “ Building the Foundation for Intelligent Infrastructure, Creating the Future of Digital Intelligence.
With the accelerating convergence of AI and 5G technologies, Ruijie’s showcase focused on enabling smart, scalable, and efficient digital ecosystems through its High-Performance Intelligent Computing Network, 5G Deep Coverage Solutions, and Smart Home & Business Wi-Fi Offerings. These solutions are designed to address pressing industry challenges such as computing resource constraints, network coverage blind spots, and the demand for intelligent deployment in diverse real-world scenarios.

Enabling AI at Scale: High-Performance Intelligent Computing Networks

At the forefront of Ruijie’s exhibit was its high-density, 64-port 800G box switch, purpose-built for large-scale AI model training. Engineered to provide ultra-low latency and high throughput, the switch lays the foundation for next-generation computing clusters, delivering a "data superhighway" to significantly boost efficiency in training trillion-parameter models.
Complementing the switch was Ruijie’s latest 400G/800G LPO optical module portfolio, developed using linear drive technology and silicon photonics. These modules eliminate the need for traditional DSP chips, dramatically reducing power consumption while maintaining high-speed data transmission—an ideal solution for modern data centres and AI networks seeking both performance and efficiency.

5G Deep Coverage Solutions: Addressing Vertical and Edge Scenarios

Ruijie’s scenario-based “2+3+X” 5G deep coverage architecture drew significant interest from attendees. This comprehensive layout includes high-power 3.5G repeaters and advanced base stations to build a wide-coverage, high-capacity foundational network layer.
The solution is tailored to three key application scenarios:
  • Campus environments for broad coverage
  • Edge networks for low-latency connectivity
  • Vertical deployments such as lifts and underground parking for targeted coverage
Ruijie also explored how AI integration with Radio Access Networks (RAN) can empower 5G networks with intelligent orchestration and automation, offering a glimpse into the future of adaptive and self-optimising mobile infrastructure.

Smart Wi-Fi for Home and Business: Converged, Seamless, and Scalable

Addressing the growing demand for intelligent, always-on connectivity in urban and residential environments, Ruijie introduced its next-generation Smart Wi-Fi solution, a hybrid fixed-mobile offering optimised for storefronts and high-end residences.

Through seamless integration with FTTR (Fibre to the Room) deployments, the solution leverages existing optical fibre infrastructure to enable flexible and rapid 5G coverage with easy installation and scalability.

Ruijie also debuted its All-Optical ACAP+X platform, which integrates communication, sensing, storage, and computing capabilities within a unified hardware solution. This innovation supports a wide range of smart home services, from surveillance and storage to AI-powered automation, delivering elevated user value while reducing operational costs for service providers.

Leading Through Innovation and Collaboration

Throughout the event, Ruijie’s exhibition area became a hub for deep technical exchange and cross-industry dialogue. Attendees praised the company's sharp focus on scenario innovation and its commitment to solving real-world challenges through open, intelligent, and scalable technologies.

As digital transformation reshapes industries worldwide, Ruijie remains steadfast in its mission to be the enabler of a smarter, more connected future. Guided by its “scenario innovation” strategy and backed by continuous R&D, the company is poised to help customers unlock new value from network infrastructure in the age of AI and 5G.
